Nimble Thimble Quilters PDF Print E-mail

Nimble Thimbles is a group of busy quilters and skilled artisans who needlepoint, crochet, knit and sew in an established workshop.

Each year, the group designs and produces a quilt that is raffled off during the bazaar. Tickets for their quilts are sold at the St. Patrick's Festival, Irish Fest and at the Christmas Bazaar. This insures that the group covers the cost of their materials and make a small profit. One hundred percent of the profit from the quilt raffle and craft sales goes to the IAHC.

New members to Nimble Thimbles are always welcome. The only requirement to join the group are that you are a member of the IAHC and bring with you enthusiasm and a love for the organization.

Nimble Thimbles meets Tuesdays at 9:30am and Wednesdays at 7:30pm in Room 205. If you would like to be a part of the group, contact Nancy Liston at 773-282-7035, ext 10.
